Born in 1984. Graduated from the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Latvia (2011) and from the Latvian Academy of Culture, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree (2011) and a Master's degree (2013) in Theatre Directing.
Since 2014, he has been working at the Latvian Academy of Culture as a lecturer in acting and directing. Since 2019, he has served as Vice-Rector for Artistic and Creative Affairs at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a director at the Latvian National Theatre.
